We match what you are already paying, and then every month a payment comes back to you: 0.3% of everything you ran. Here is where that money comes from, and what the arrangement costs you.
No trick to it. The fee moves, and then we share what we collect.
We match the rate you are paying now. Your prices, the way your customers pay, and your deposits all stay exactly as they are.
Then every month we send you 0.3% of everything you ran through the terminal. Not a credit on a bill, not a discount on next month. A payment, in your account.
It comes out of our side. We make a margin on the processing, the same way the processor you are with today does, and we hand part of it back rather than keeping all of it. That is the whole mechanism, and it does not ask anything of you.
There is also an optional program, dual pricing, that changes who pays the card fee. It is not required, and it has no effect on the 0.3% we pay you, which is the same either way. Here is what it looks like at the counter.
| You run | We pay you | A year | Stop losing optional | You make optional |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 a month | $75 | $900 | $725 | $800 a month |
| $50,000 a month | $150 | $1,800 | $1,450 | $1,600 a month |
| $100,000 a month | $300 | $3,600 | $2,900 | $3,200 a month |
| $250,000 a month | $750 | $9,000 | $7,250 | $8,000 a month |
The first two columns are the payment, which you get either way. The last two assume the optional dual pricing program is on. Illustrative, assumes a 2.9% current effective rate. Your own number depends on what you pay today, which we work out with you on the call.
A processor that only makes money when you are charged more has no reason to care how you are doing.
Our side of this goes up when your volume goes up. So a busier month for you is a better month for us, and a slow one costs us too. That lines us up with you in a way a flat monthly bill never does.
It also means we will tell you when something is not worth doing. There is no version of this where we make more by talking you into hardware you do not need.
Short enough to read in one go, which is the point of printing it.
| Terminal | Free |
| Install and setup | Free |
| Monthly | See what Pacta costs |
| Contract | None |
| Funding | Same day |
| Refunds | You still pay processing |
That is genuinely all it takes to show you what this looks like on your counter.
Your monthly card volume and your average ticket. From those two we can work out what the payment comes to, what you are handing over today, and whether this is worth your time. If it is not, we will say so.
If your question is not here, call and a person will answer it.
Both prices are posted before anybody gets to the counter, so nobody is surprised at the register. Customers paying cash pay the lower price, which costs you nothing. The ones paying by card see the number they already saw on the tag.
Yes. The card price is the posted price. The terminal rings the number on the tag, and it does not add a percentage at checkout. That is the whole distinction, and we set your terminal up so it stays true.
There is a monthly cost, printed in full on the homepage, and you still pay processing costs on refunds. That is the whole of it. If anyone tells you a card program costs you nothing at all, they are leaving something out.
Monthly. The first one lands about six weeks after you go live, because our processor settles the prior month before we can pay you on it. After that it is every month.
Send us another owner and you earn 0.2% of their card volume every month they keep processing. No cap. One level only, so your friend's own referrals are their check, not yours.
Bring your monthly volume and your average ticket. We will show you the two figures and you can decide.
