When you apply for Pacta Payments services we collect business legal name DBA business structure business address phone email Federal Tax ID or SSN business bank account information industry type business description ownership information and business financial information.
Transaction amounts dates and types customer payment information processed securely settlement amounts and dates refund and chargeback data processing volume and trends.
IP address device information browser type operating system pages visited time spent referring URLs and clickstream data.
We use information to process payment transactions and settlements manage your business account calculate and deduct fees through settlement billing send transaction confirmations and account notifications.
For underwriting and credit decisions we evaluate applications analyze settlement history and monitor account performance.
For fraud prevention and security we detect and prevent fraudulent transactions monitor for suspicious activity verify business and identity information and comply with anti money laundering requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf including payment processing networks acquiring banks fraud detection services identity verification services cloud hosting providers and customer support platforms.
We implement industry standard security measures including encryption of data in transit and at rest secure network infrastructure access controls regular security audits and employee training on data security. Card data is processed on PCI DSS Level 1 validated platforms operated by our processing partners. Pacta Payments does not store full card numbers.
We retain your business and transaction records for as long as your account is open, and after it closes for as long as the law requires us to, including anti money laundering, card network and tax record keeping rules. Application data that identifies you personally, including a Federal Tax ID or SSN and bank account details, is held under the same rules and is securely destroyed once the retention period for it has run. If you want the exact retention period that applies to your account in writing, email us and we will send it. Technical log data is retained for a shorter operational period.
Our website uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to function and for basic, privacy respecting analytics of page performance. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell what you look at. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
