The obvious questions
Why would a payments company give away a $339.99 terminal?
Because we don't make money on hardware — we make it when your card processing runs clean. Free terminal, aligned incentives. Every processor could do this; we're just the ones who actually do.
What's the catch?
The whole model, out loud: your register shows a cash price and a card price, so the small card fee is disclosed to your customer at checkout instead of coming out of your pocket. Same thing every gas station does, legal in all 50 states when the card price is the posted price. You keep 100% of every sale — that's the "catch."
Why the account setup before shipping?
