Why we exist

Small shops get the worst deal in payments. Liquor stores, smoke shops, markets, repair shops, salons and bars pay the highest rates, wait the longest for their money, and get the least help. The big card companies are built for software companies and online checkouts, not for a counter.

We thought that was backwards. So we built a card company for shops that take cards in person, around one idea: the card company should share what it makes with you. We match the credit card processing rate you pay today. Every card company keeps a cut of your sales. We send 20% of our cut back to you, every month. The terminal is free. A real person knows your account.

Your money should move fast

Waiting two or three days for your own money costs you. Most Pacta shops get their money the same business day, so your bank account keeps up with your shop.

Help means a person

When your terminal dies in the middle of a rush, you do not need a ticket number. You need someone who knows your account and picks up. Every Pacta shop gets a real person, not a queue.
